FLARE Index to Treaties

The FLARE index to treaties launched from the IALS website. Free to use index of over 1,500 of the most significant multilateral treaties. Each entry includes information about where the full text of each treaty can be found in print with live links to electronic versions on the internet, where available. It will also give details of the authentic languages of the treaty/convention and who the depository is.

Searching the database is easy: enter any one or a combination of subjects, keywords, words from official or popular title, reference number (from the Council of Europe or International Labour Organisation), date, or place treaty was concluded (but avoid Geneva!)

I have just used this database for the first time and I found it really useful for finding by year and place - which is often all you know - and for the links to where you can get the treaty/convention from. Links not available for all conventions though, but I found those ones just on the internet.
