Pre-1894 Statutory Rules and Orders can be found in the London Gazette:
- On the Home Page there is a box entitled: Historians
- Click on Search the Archive within this box.
- You can search by date and or words. When searching by date of the rule/regulation choose a date range of a month from the date of the rule unless you know the exact date of the Gazette in which it was printed.

The London Gazette search has been simplified and it is possible to find pre-1894 Statutory Rules and Orders via the search box at:
