The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) makes available a large collection of primary legal materials for free at http://www.bailii.org/. BAILII is a non-profit-making charitable trust hosted at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in London. It provides:

- British cases from 1996 onwards; also selected leading cases from the 17th century to the present day.
- Irish cases from around 2001 onwards, plus selected earlier cases.
- The English Reports (via link to CommonLII)
- European Union cases and European Court of Human Rights cases from 1954 onwards
