I note that there is a section called "Miscellaneous" I'd recommend not having any pages called this or general because they will just become dumping grounds for content which doesn't fit nicely anywhere else, but which should have its own home.

Thanks James - the miscellaneous section was just a folder which had a few pages in. I agree it can be a dumping ground and I've now moved all the pages in there to the locations in which they belong.

Could Somebody explain the Duplicate Exchange scheme?

The Duplicates Exchange Scheme has been in existence since 1972. The page on the BIALL website - http://www.biall.org.uk/pages/duplicates-exchange-scheme.html - explains how it works and the name of the contact person if you are interested in joining.

Speaking in a personal capacity I would say that the scheme is a lifeline to many library - we have found that finding just the one issue of a law report or journal can make the subscription cost worthwhile. Equally we all like to ensure that nothing goes to waste and I am often surprised by the items which are "fought" over. There are those who would prefer to post to Lis-law or the BIALL mailing list but I would rather have the list three times a year to consolidate my time and just use the lists for emergencies.

I am sure that there are other views.
