FLARE Index to Treaties

FLARE Index to Treaties

The FLARE Index to Treaties, on the IALS website, is a free index of over 2,000 of the most significant multilateral treaties, and some bilateral treaties, concluded between 1353 and the present. Each entry includes information about where the full text of each treaty can be found in print, with live links to electronic versions on the internet, where available. It also gives details of the authentic languages of the treaty/convention and who the depository is.

Searching the database is easy: enter any one or a combination of subjects, keywords, words from official or popular title, reference number (from the Council of Europe or International Labour Organisation), date, or place treaty was concluded (but avoid Geneva!)
