Services who provide land registry searches

England & Wales

• SearchFlow - account required. Many different types of searches available, including the OC1 (to get ownership information on a property). Costs just under £5 for OC1s and costs vary for other documents. Once set up, easy enough to use after training. They have a sister organisation who covers Scotland. Searches for Scotland are much higher than E&W.

Scotland

• see Searchflow above if they can help
• Millar & Bryce also offer searches for the Title Sheet. Around £20 if you know the title number, more if you don't. 

Republic of Ireland

• LawLink - account required. No credit needed for Land Registry searches though. Costs very low.
• Vision-net - account required and pre-credit loaded on too. Offers other services such as Irish company information
• UK LRS - free registration required and PAYG by credit card. Costs more than going with land registry directly but has benefit of no credit needed to be loaded onto the system immediately.
• Irish Land Registry direct - account required and credit of €125 needed before using.
