Recent and forthcoming cases of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) and EU General Court (formerly the Court of First Instance (CFI))

To find recent and forthcoming cases try:

Curia (European Court of Justice and European General Court) website case law database http://curia.europa.eu/jcms/jcms/j_6/home  - Database provides case law from mid-1997 NB the electronic version is provisional; authoritative text is the text published in the European Court Reports (not usually available in English until around 2 years after the judgment date)  Also provides details of pending cases, go to Numerical Access - http://curia.europa.eu/jcms/jcms/Jo2_7045/numerical-access - only information given is name, case number and that it is "pending case".

Curia Press releases - http://curia.europa.eu/jcms/jcms/Jo2_16799 provide brief details of judgments available on the same day

Official Journal C - http://eur-lex.europa.eu/JOIndex.do?ihmlang=en - notices of new cases lodged at the Courts around 6-8 week delay from when lodged. Notice also appears if the case is dropped.
